The Capitol Cinema in Schwenningen does not show classic art house films. Only carefully selected films are shown here. A wide variety of events such as comedy, cabaret and cabaret also take place here regularly and keep cinema-goers glued to their seats.

The municipal cinema guckloch shows many German and European films, but also a wide variety of international films. Short films are also shown, which usually have no place in commercial cinemas. A special feature is the short introduction given by a member of staff before the screening begins. Here, cinema-goers learn interesting background information about the director and the people involved, as well as about the history of the film's making.
