Declaration on accessibility
This declaration on accessibility applies to the website of the town of Villingen-Schwenningen at www.villingen-schwenningen.de. An open exchange is very important to us. If you have any suggestions, improvements or criticism, please send us an e-mail at pressestelle@~@villingen-schwenningen.de or call us on 07721 / 82-2020.
It is important to us that our website complies with the provisions of the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council to make it accessible.
The accessibility requirements are set out in Sections 3 (1) to (4) and (4) of BITV 2.0, which was issued on the basis of Section 12d BGG.
At the time of publication of the new website of the town of Villingen-Schwenningen, not all requirements could be implemented. Some content and applications are unfortunately not yet barrier-free.
A read-aloud function and the option to adjust the contrast have been integrated. The search function makes it easier to find content. Individual texts are provided in easy-to-read language.
PDF documents, flyers and brochures are not yet fully accessible. The use of the council information system or linked external municipal services are also not yet accessible.
- Easy language: We are currently working on making the website available in easy language. Implementation planned for 2024.
- Sign language: In planning. Implementation 2024.
- Accessible documents: We are working on the technical implementation of accessible PDF documents. Implementation from 2024.
The website is constantly being further developed, also with regard to accessibility. If you come across information that you cannot use, please contact us. We will be happy to make it available to you as far as possible.
